Welcome to the 2026 Alabama Battleground World Series - "The Last Stand"! We are excited to welcome your team to Wetumpka, Alabama, for what promises to be an incredible weekend of baseball. When we began planning this event, our goal was simple: create a true World Series experience without requiring families to spend an entire week at the ballpark or take multiple days off work. The result is a highly competitive 3-Day, 4-Game Guarantee World Series that delivers the same championship atmosphere, elite competition, and memorable experience in half the time. Because this event will be played in a Double Elimination format, games will begin Friday morning and continue throughout Saturday and Sunday, culminating with Championship Sunday. While this schedule does not allow for a traditional Opening Ceremonies and Pin Trading Event, we encourage teams to trade pins throughout the weekend between games and with opponents before and after contests. If you have not yet visited the newly renovated Wetumpka Sports Complex, you are in for a treat. The facility features: Brand-new synthetic turf fields New spectator sunshades Outstanding concession facilities One of the premier youth baseball environments in the Southeast ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📋 COACHES CHECK-IN Coach Check-In will be held on Thursday, June 25, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, and 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM Friday morning. During check-in, coaches will: Verify team roster Present birth certificates (if requested) Receive coach wristbands Ask any last-minute tournament questions Please note: Rosters will lock Wednesday night at 11:59 PM. Each team will receive four (4) coach wristbands. There will be no coach sign-in sheets at the gate. A coach or team representative must check in to receive coach wristbands.
